Residential Water Treatment Systems and Applications High Quality Drinking Water. What is the importance, and how can I measure it?
Water is one of the most essential elements our bodies need to maintain good health and overall well-being. In fact, the human body is comprised of 60 – 80 percent water. Accordingly, it’s important that every five to 10 days we replace all of the body's water with pure, filtered water. That’s why public health officials, doctors and personal trainers traditionally emphasize the importance of drinking at least eight glasses of clean water each and every day to help regulate digestion, body temperature, restore body fluids and remove impurities.

The quality of your drinking water can be measured by its desirability. Bacteria, metals, algae, dirt and other inorganic and organic pollutants have a significant impact on the taste, smell, appearance – and more importantly safety – of your water supply. With our past industrial and waste disposal practices, many community and individual water supply systems contain detectable levels of toxic or hazardous inorganic, organic and microbiological agents.
